Tired of seeing posts on social media from users you felt obliged to accept friend requests from? Well Facebook is now updating its preferences to prioritize your friendships!

1.) “Prioritize who to see first” to send your best friend’s posts to the top of your news feed.

2.) “Reconnect with people you unfollowed” to view a list of people you don’t really care about but never unfollowed.

3.) Click the “Discover New Pages” option to view lists of pages Facebook thinks you will find enjoyable.

4.) Lastly, you can simply unfollow people.

Facebook will continue to bump up life events it believes are important as well as prioritize close relationships.  The new preferences are currently only available in the iOS mobile app.
