In queso you didn’t hear, Whole Foods is recalling certain cheeses after FDA sampling detected a possible listeria contamination.

The recall is for cut, wrapped and weighed Papillion organic Roquefort cheese. Listeria has been known to make people so sick that they need hospitalization and can be fatal to individuals with compromised immune systems, the elderly and women who are pregnant.

A greater danger to consumers is the possibility that the bacteria has grown and spread to other foods in the home.

Customers will be granted a full refund if they bring their receipts to a Whole Foods store.
