Remember this face? A couple weeks ago on Furry Fix we featured Rocco, Humane Society of Greater Miami’s longest resident. Congrats to this pup, Rocco is finally on his way to his forever home!

Because of his breed, the shelter’s Miami-Dade location was a challenge in getting him adopted. They were hoping our segment would spread the word to adopters outside of the county... and it did! He's on his way to his new owners in Tallahassee!

The eight-year-old Pitbull mix had been at the shelter for four years. A special thanks to Thats-a-Wrap Sandwich Co. in Fort Lauderdale for sponsoring his adoptin!

Check out some of the other animals at HSGM here. If you're interested in adopting any of the animals you see, visit the shelter at 16101 West Dixie Highway North Miami Beach, FL 33160 or call 305-696-0800.
