Still at the shelter, Dixie is now an urgent dog

Dixie is no stranger to Furry Fix, we've featured her before. She's still at the shelter and is now considered an urgent dog. Last time we featured her, we learned that she was surrendered by her previous owners because their new landlord didn't allow dogs her size.

Dixie has been at the shelter since Thanksgiving. She recently fell in puppy love with another pup, Spike. But just in time for Valentine's Day, Spike has been adopted and Dixie's still there. She's ready to fall in love with a new family just in time for the holiday.

Dixie is just under three-years-old and she's a Pitbull. Her animal ID is A1758841. If you're interested in adopting her, just visit Broward County Animal Care & Adoption at 1870 SW 39 St. in Fort Lauderdale.
