WEST PALM BEACH, FL – You can get more than burgers and fries at a fast food joint.

A Wendy’s in West Palm Beach, FL, found itself with some unexpected gator, but it wasn’t on the menu.

It was a three-and-a-half foot-long critter.

Cops say 23-year-old Joshua James is the guy responsible. They say James tossed the gator through the drive-up window after he got his drink.

Now he faces charges of assault with a deadly weapon without the intent to kill for something his mom, Linda, says was just a prank. "They said, 'Will he cooperate?' I said, 'Absolutely! He's not a bad kid, he's a stupid kid. He did a stupid prank.' He had no problem with turning himself in."

Some dropped change at a Utah drive-through nearly cost a man his head.

Cops had to break into the car’s side window after the man’s head got caught between the car door and the door frame when he opened the door to pick up some dropped change.

His car rolled forward, trapping his head and cutting off his oxygen.

Cops broke into the car so they could put it into neutral, then gently push it back.

They finally got the 19-year-old out and to the hospital.

He’ll live, but it will be a while before anyone offers him a penny for this thoughts about being a changed man.
