HOUSTON, Tx. - Hollywood called it, a world where humans rely on robots to do their manual labor for them is on the way. And this isn`t some doomsday warning from labor unions, it`s the White House Council of Economic Advisers.

They say there`s an 83% chance that artificial intelligence will eventually takeover positions that pay $20 or less. Want proof? Meet “Atlas.”

Atlas is a product of Boston Dynamics. His video introduction has gone viral! Atlas is five foot nine, can lift objects, manage rough terrain inside and out, and stand up on his own.

So with robots on the way, should we even fight for higher wages? The more expensive it is for employers to pay us, the more attractive robots may seem.

Houstonians we talked to were wary of our new robot overlords, and feared what was to come of their jobs if robots could one day replace them.
