FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.  – The Fort Lauderdale Strikers announced  on Tuesday plans to enhance their ticket package by increasing the accessibility of Strikers soccer to families in South Florida. The new ticket policy will see children 12 and under granted free entry to the general admission sections of Strikers home matches at Lockhart Stadium, when accompanied by an adult.

“The new ticket policies make professional soccer more accessible to youth, and more affordable for families in our community to come watch the Strikers play all season long,” said Strikers Managing Director Luis Cuccatti. “As part of our growing commitment to our region’s youngest soccer fans, we feel it important to introduce our exciting brand of soccer to the next generation of supporters across South Florida.”

By introducing these policies, along with affordable pricing for adult tickets and season packages, the Strikers strengthen the claim of being the best value professional sports experience in South Florida.

The Strikers organization continues to be hugely invested with strengthening the local appeal for soccer at the youth level. This includes the Strikers’ growing work with soccer clinics, powered by Publix. Part of this community connection is demonstrated by players and coaches willingness to regularly stay on the pitch after games to sign autographs and pose for pictures with young fans.

In addition to its grassroots work in the community, the Strikers demonstrated further commitment to youth soccer in South Florida by partnering with Fort Lauderdale FC in early 2016.
