WYNNE, AR - Courtroom judges are expected to bang gavels....not defendants! If you think that`s inappropriate, wait until you hear about one Arkansas judge!

Joe Boeckmann resigned after thousands of sexually explicit photos were found on his computer. Most are believed to be defendants who appeared in his courtroom.

"He's a criminal predator for sure, who has used his judicial office to feed his corrupt desires,” says David Sachar, Executive Director of the Judicial Discipline and Disability Commission.

The cross county district judge has been under investigation for months. The nude photos taken at his home are just the latest revelations. The state`s judicial ethics committee alleges Boeckmann gave male defendants special treatment in exchange for favors. Some men were sentenced to chores at the judge’s  home, where he`s accused of coercing them into sexual acts ranging from spanking, to pleasuring themselves on camera. In return, the defendants received attorney fees, lighter sentences, reduced fines, and preferential treatment in child custody cases.

Sachar says, “I don't know what else what you can possibly say about that except that he's a sexual predator.”

Supposedly it`s been going on for 30 years. No charges have been filed against him, yet. But next time he`s in a courtroom, Boeckmann will be on the other side of the bench.
