FLORENCE, Italy - Folks in Florence, Italy woke up to something really big... a giant sink hole!
It sure made for one messy road hazard.
The massive hole gobbled-up 20 cars, a large water pipe-- and two nearby buildings had to be evacuated as a precaution.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, people in China made a discovery they're not gonna "dig!"
This humongous sinkhole was caught on camera swallowing up everything around it, including four cars and a tree!
So, how do they get a car out of that thing?
Actually, they just get a rope and pull. A giant crane was used to retrieve some cars as well.
Meantime, down the road it was a different kind of "dirt" causing problems on the highway.
Watch as this giant dump truck tips over! The motorcyclist narrowly escapes with his life!
No one was injured in any of these mishaps, but investigators still wonder what caused the "hole-y" happenings.
Hey, maybe it was someone trying to dig their way....out of China!
