Ed Sheerhan is being sued, for about $20 million dollars.

That's according to a court document filed in U.S. District court in California.

Whether you're a big fan of the English pop vocalist or not, you've heard his catchy song - "Photograph."

Songwriters, Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard claim "Photograph" bears similarities with 39 identical notes to a tune named, "Amazing,"  a song they wrote in 2009.

"Amazing" was later released by X-factor winner Matt Cardle.

The two songwriters are using the same lawyer who won a $7.4 million dollar copy infringement victory off of Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke, regarding Marvin Gaye's sound-alike single, "Blurred Lines."
