LELAND, Florida - Talk about counting your lucky stars!

A driver is lucky to be alive after an unbelievable car crash caught on camera from a nearby business.

Surveillance footage shows a  gray sedan flying thought the air and tumbling at least six times before bouncing onto the roadside and coming to a complete stop.

In the frightening moments afterwards, a group of Good Samaritans race to the smoldering wreckage to rescue the driver.

"We couldn't pull him out of the windows because the car was crushed," one rescuer said.

"People came over with fire extinguishers to put out the fire," another witness said. "We flipped the car over and pulled the guy out so he didn't burn alive."

"I start pulling him out and another guy about my age helps me pull him out of the car," Jarrod Winfield, one of the Good Samaritans, said.

Rescuers said the driver was flown to the hospital with head trauma and other injuries.

Officials said the car struck a mailbox and several ATVs parked outside a scooter dealership as it flipped over multiple times.

"It probably did four or five 360s in the air," one witness said

Amazingly, no one else was injured in the harrowing crash.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the wreck in the first place.

One thing's for sure, the driver is very lucky to have survived, and he owes that in part....to some quick-responding Good Samaritans who truly saved the day.

"If it weren't for the bystanders, he wouldn't have made it," one witness said.
