NEW YORK — Aw snap. Ed Sheeran is getting sued again! Yet another "song suit" for the pop star.

Back in June, songwriters Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard accused Sheeran of stealing their song "Amazing." The pair are seeking $20 million from the British singer, claiming his hit "Photograph" sounds oddly similar to their song.

Once again, Sheeran is being put on blast.  This time, the song in question is Marvin Gaye's soul hit, "Let's Get It On."

Both songwriters, Ed Townsend and Marvin Gaye have passed away. But Townsend's heir is the one filing the paperwork.

The lawsuit claims parts of Sheeran's Grammy-winning hit ,"Thinking Out Loud", are "substantially and/or strikingly similar to Gaye's song.

Seems the Twitter-verse has been calling out Sheeran for the guitar chord's resemblances for quite some time.

Hazwan Daniel tweeted: "One more thing, listen and compare the guitar track of both Ed's Thinking Out Loud and Marvin Gaye's Lets Get It On."

Ebony Frampton tweeted"Isn't it funny how Thinking Out Loud has the same chord progression as Lets Get It On by Marvin Gaye as well. Coincidence? I think not."

It is up to the courts now. It would seem similarity is in the ear of the beholder.
