LONDON, U.K. – Feeling tense? Between work, kids, and the economy, life can get pretty stressful.

Which could be why more and more Americans are winding down, by getting high.

New research released on Wednesday from Lancet Psychiatry in England, shows that ten million more adults in the U.S. smoke marijuana now, than twelve years ago.

Even more shocking, the study finds that the number of American adults hitting the reefer on a daily basis has nearly doubled!

Now that`s a lot of pothead parents!

Maybe the idea of smoking ganja just isn’t as scary these days, the numbers also showed nearly a forty percent drop in those who view using weed a high risk choice.

And with the changes in state marijuana laws across the country, it seems like these numbers will only continue to get higher.
