After eight long years of monsters, moonstones and magic, “The Vampire Diaries” is about to end for good. If you’re not emotional about it, you’re doing this whole ‘fan’ thing wrong.
Still, there’s a lot to cover in the series finale, and several threads left dangling. Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice King) finally walked down the aisle, but there’s still the pesky matter of him being human and her being a vampire. Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) life has been left literally hanging in the balance… And we can’t forget that whole hell’s bell thing, thanks to Vicky Donovan (Kayla Ewell).
Even after all that, we still have to take into account Katherine and Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) return.
With the entire town of Mystic Falls hanging in the balance, it’s hard to focus on happily ever afters, but we’ll still speculate about who we think will get their happy ending… And who will get left in the dust.
