On April 2, the 3rd Annual Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure Presented by AutoNation will take place on Main Street. Miami Lakes Cars for a Cure Foundation’s sole purpose is to raise funds for cancer research. They are teaming up with The Miami Foundation and the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center to help those who are suffering, fight for those who we have lost and create awareness to the public.
More than 250 classic cars will be on display as part of a fundraiser to benefit Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of UHealth – the University of Miami Health System. The event will feature numerous food vendors, a “touch zone” with a Miami Lakes Fire Department fire truck, a police car, a bus, and many other entertaining elements like the music band Mantrap and DJ Alex Gutierrez.
