Even though it still feels like Summer in South Florida, it’s Fall! So bring out your lightweight boots and jackets!
Michelle Di Marco from Lilac and Lilies Boutique, has three Fall trend tips on what you could wear this season, starting with teddy coats.
"We first saw the teddy coats emerge in 2013 in the Max Mara fashion show, so since then we kind of take the old couture designers and they trickle down into consumerism which is where we play in. Another great thing about our store is that most of the things are priced under one hundred dollars," said Di Marco.
Another simple but cute teddy coat look involves a graphic t and a suede skirt. The outfit shown in the video is perfect for South Florida because it's not too hot, the coat is light and tees never go out of style. A style you can wear year round.
The second Fall trend is lace. Di Marco shows a laced jumpsuit which can be worn to cocktail parties.
"An all-in-one dressing, so you don't really have to worry about pairing the bottom with the top or the top with the bottom. You just put a pair of cute accessories on and you're done," said Di Marco.
Third, animal print. Our Melissa Marrero was wearing an animal print top with leather pants from Lilac and Lilies Boutique. Di Marco mentions how the leather pants are actually vegan leather, so they are animal-friendly.
And with the holidays right around the corner, Di Marco says they’re already stocking up.
"We really have something for everyone. So, you can come in and buy a cocktail dress for yourself and a gift for a friend that's hosting a dinner party or a cocktail party for the evening," said Di Marco.
